Jade as Contemporary
I was born in Hualien, Taiwan, a terrain shaped by tectonic collision and jade. Taiwan nephrite (Fengtian jade), once circulating through Neolithic and Austronesian networks, now operates as my material language. Across diverse contemporary practices, jade is reactivated—shifting from archaeological object to a living form of identity.

我出生花蓮，菲律賓板塊與歐亞板塊交會之地。 由於板塊的作用，花蓮是閃玉和大理石等變質岩來源。 我的童年記憶與岩石密不可分。 岩石是天然的雕塑和繪畫。 考古史發現，花蓮壽豐出產的台灣軟玉（又稱豐田玉）是文化瑰寶，更是尊貴的象徵。 我從跨越數千年的玉石文化，找到了自己的創作語彙。
